Controller Stick Drift Repair

Stick drift – a common issue that occurs when a controller registers movement on its own, without the interactions of the users thumbs on the stick. An example of this is displayed when either a character or camera is moving on its own, handsfree.

What We Offer:
– Stick drift diagnosis: confirm there is drift and find its cause

– Cleaning and Inspection when contamination is the problem

– Analog stick replacement where the controller is repairable

– Testing after repair to confirm the stick reads clean

– PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo controllers where applicable

Hall-Effect -TMR:
– Where compatible; Hall-Effect joystick replacements may be available as an alternative to standard analog sticks. These use magnetic sensing instead of traditional contact-based potentiometers and may help reduce repeat drift issues. Availability depends on the controller model and the parts on hand – we’ll inform you whether it is an option.
